So we've eaten at this place a few times, but we ate here again yesterday for lunch and I decided to write a review.
I LOVE sushi! It's just a little pricey so I don't really get to eat it as often as I would like to. I worked a half day yesterday, and Danny took the day off, so we decided to go out to lunch since we know this place does the Bento Box thing. One thing about sushi is that I never feel full after I eat it. And with it being expensive, you can't really order a bunch of rolls (unless you are made of money, which I am not), so as good as it always is, there is always this feeling after eating it like "was that really worth it?" And this place is no exception. We went for dinner a couple times and like always, I felt a little cheated.
But I cannot say that about their lunch. It is ridiculous how much food you get! I got the Roll Bento for $8.95 and I got a California Roll, Spicy Crab Roll, Fried Crab Roll, a salad, and miso soup! I was so full! One of my rolls had 8 pieces, one had 7, and the other had 4. But that was more than enough, and they were all so good! The Spicy Crab Roll was my favorite, followed by the California Roll, and then the Fried Crab Roll. This place still wasn't anywhere near as good as Zena Sushi (see previous review on them), but for lunch it was amazing.
One thing I really, REALLY hate about this place though...they send out coupons in the mailers all the time, and I think we have tried to use them on 3 different occassions and they will not honor them. There are no limitations stated on the coupons themselves, but every time we go to pay with one, they come up with some lame excuse as to why we can't use it. We've gone for dinner during the week, dinner during the weekend, and lunch during the week and every time were told no. My opinion is, if you are going to send people coupons, then you need to honor them.
Again, forgot to take a pictures (I've been getting really bad about that lately!). I guess I need to put Danny in charge of helping me to remember to take pictures. If I go again any time soon (not likely, but you never know), I will take a picture and post it on its own.
